University of Texas Micro Farm

The Microfarm is UT’s first and only entirely student-run organic farm and community garden. Founded in 2012, we made the transition from our original farm site on Leona street to our new farm at the Intramural Fields in 2018. Our student team of farmers runs volunteer workdays every Sunday morning from 10:30 to 12:30. We work together to take care of over 5000 square feet of vegetable rows, providing fresh produce and the opportunity to connect with farming and food to the university community.
