Clarksville Community Garden at the Haskell House

The Clarksville Community Garden, an organic garden, is a project of the Clarksville community and the Clarksville Community Development Corporation and is located on a site leased by the CCDC from the Austin Parks Department.

Instead of requesting a monthly or annual fee, we simply ask that community gardeners provide for proper grounds keeping through regular volunteer work in front and out back. It is important to maintain a healthy, clean and lively atmosphere at the Haskell House. If the gardeners wish to make a capital improvement to the site, then a small assessment may be required of the gardeners.

New gardeners should contact the Garden Liaison. The Garden Liaison will also maintain a waiting list if demand for plots exceeds availability.
