Unity Park

Unity Park Community Garden is located at 2746 Gattis School Road in Round Rock.  It was founded in 2010 by the non-profit organization Neighborhood Harvest Project, who’s mission is to promote local food and sustainable living through education and community gardening in the Round Rock area.  The Baha’i Faith of Round Rock hosts the community garden on a 2 acre lot next to their Center.

Our garden is an allotment style community garden, where each gardener tends to their own plot.  We have 30 rented plots, and 5 pantry plots dedicated to growing food for the Women’s Shelter in Round Rock.  All gardeners are required volunteer throughout the year by helping maintain the pantry plots and the public portions of the garden.

Neighborhood Harvest Project sponsors many events throughout the year, including free presentations, workshops, potlucks, movie screenings, and other activities.

If you’re interested in gardening with us, or attending one of our events, please see our website:  www.TeamNHP.org
