The mission of the Coalition of Austin Community Gardens is to facilitate the creation of more community gardens in the Greater Austin Metro Area. We strive to foster stability and land security for existing gardens, and to help them to become more vibrant, diverse places.
Please note: our regular meeting time and structure has changed in response to feedback from community gardeners. Starting in 2017, the CACG will focus our efforts on hosting quarterly (free) educational events. We will plan these events and bring new energy into our policy advocacy in separate working-group meetings. Tentatively, upcoming educational events will be Tuesdays, February 21, May 23, August 15, and November 21 (the 3rd Tuesday of each month except in May) from 6:30 to 8pm.
Stay tuned for details, and to get involved in the meantime, contact: Sari Albornoz at firstname.lastname@example.org
The CACG receives administrative support from Sustainable Food Center and from the City of Austin’s Sustainable Urban Agriculture & Community Gardens program.
